New Calculators
Seven new validated calculators join the library:
MAP — Mean arterial pressure. Quick perfusion and shock target calculation at the bedside.
CRB-65 — Lab-free community-acquired pneumonia severity (Lim 2003). Useful in the community or when labs aren’t immediately available.
ASRS v1.1 — Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale, WHO Part A (Kessler 2005). A fast, standardized screen to support ADHD assessment conversations.
Tisdale QT — QTc prolongation risk in hospitalized patients (Tisdale 2013). Helpful when juggling multiple QT-prolonging medications.
HEART — Chest pain 6-week MACE risk (Six 2008). For risk-stratifying chest pain presentations in the ED.
Finnegan — Neonatal abstinence severity scoring (Finnegan 1975). For NAS monitoring and treatment decisions.
CKiD U25 — Pediatric and young adult eGFR, ages 1–25 (Pierce 2021). Fills the gap where adult equations fall short.
Calculator UX Overhaul
The calculator panel got a significant usability upgrade to make it faster to find the right tool.
Search. Free-text search across all calculators. Type a name, an acronym, or a clinical keyword and the list filters instantly.
Topic chips. Six curated groupings sit above the search bar: Cardiology, Resp & VTE, Renal & Hepatic, Mental Health, Substance Use, and Neuro. Tap a chip to filter; it combines with free-text search so you can narrow quickly. Specialty-name aliases mean typing “psychiatry” surfaces the Mental Health calculators even though no individual calc carries that exact tag.
Favorites and recently used. Star any calculator to pin it to the top of your list. Recently used calculators surface automatically. The tools you reach for most are always within reach.
PDF export. Every calculator result can now be exported as a PDF — calc name, filled inputs with labels and units, score with severity band, guidance text, and the original citation.
Inline Calculator Links in Chat
This is the one that ties everything together. When Asklepius mentions a clinical score in a chat answer, it now surfaces a clickable link that opens the calculator panel directly — prefilled with relevant values when context allows.
Reading about a chest pain workup and see a reference to the HEART score? One tap opens the calculator ready to go. No copy-pasting, no hunting through the panel.
Drug Mode Improvements
Formulation selection. When a drug has multiple distinct formulations (e.g., oral vs. injectable, immediate-release vs. extended-release), you can now select the specific formulation. The information returned is scoped to that formulation, so you’re not sifting through irrelevant dosing or pharmacokinetic data.
Accordion layout. Drug information sections are now collapsible. Open the sections you need, collapse the rest. Keeps the interface readable when you’re looking for one specific detail rather than reviewing the full monograph.
